About Me
I think of counseling with a system’s perspective where mental health is just a piece of that puzzle. Having a background in nutrition science combined with marriage and family systems has helped give me perspective on the whole-person with physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual health. Whether you are struggling with the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles, I want to help my clients find joy, freedom, and hope in all aspects of their life.
My approach is integrative with trauma-informed, person-centered, and compassion-focused when working with individuals, couples, and families. I love working with clients who experience feelings of shame, who struggle with perfectionism, or who are facing relationship issues and conflicts.
Your First Session
A first session can be intimidating, scary, exciting or anything in between so I try to make things easy from the get-go. My goal is to create a warm environment, building trust, where we can understand what healing and finding joy, peace, and freedom means for you. We will collaborate and make a plan to reach your goals that are individual to you. Everyone who walks through my doors is unique so every plan is tailored to you.
