About Me
Hi there! My name is Julia Lowrey, and I am a LMFT-Associate here in College Station, TX. I am passionate about walking alongside you as you discover healing, hope, and joy. I love to support those who desire healthy relationships, who want freedom from depression, anxiety or OCD, and who have experienced hurt and pain from previous relationships or past trauma. I love supporting couples and families so that they can thrive. If you are in need of someone who can meet you where you’re at with grace and warmth, and offer a safe place to discover what healing looks like for you, I would love to be part of your journey.
My approach to therapy is a combination of client-centered, compassion-focused, trauma-informed, and looks at the whole-person. I use different modalities depending on the need and I invite your feedback into the room. With a nonjudgmental approach, we will collaborate and I will offer guidance based on your goals.
I have a background in nutrition science and love to cook new things every week. If I’m not in the counseling office, you’ll find me outdoors exercising, in the kitchen cooking or baking, singing at my church, or on the couch with a book. I love a good story or a creative activity, so typically my free time is spent doing either of those things!
