Howdy!

My name is Nick Wood and it's a pleasure to get to be a counselor here in College Station at Rivers Edge. I've learned on my road of caring for folks that life is full of circumstances that can leave us feeling unmoored, adrift in a sea of uncertainty and doubt. My goal as a counselor is to be a guide and paddle alongside you. You are not alone. I aim to equip you with the tools to navigate through the feelings of uncertainty and finding newfound confidence and clarity.

You see, when you begin to walk in that confidence and start to take that very first step things can begin to change. The snowball can begin to grow with each roll. Small at first but once it get's rolling we can being to see the benefits. Nothing more is required, though, except that we take one more step. When we are alone this feels insurmountable and overwhelming. I would love to join you though!

Let's take the next step together and clear some of the fog and clutter. We can uncover truth about your situation and make practical steps toward what's next. You don't have to go it alone. One once said "If you want to go fast go alone, If you want to go far go together." I'd love to be on your team and help.

I tend to be practical and solutions minded seek ways to help you translate lessons learned through the fog into behavioral change. My best work happens when I get to see the integration of truth and change. If we know the truth about ourselves or about a given situation it sets us free. We can begin to act on that information. This fills my heart with joy as a therapist.

I am a Masters Level Graduate Student under the supervision of Josh Berger, LPC-S.
