“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step,” Lao Tzu.

Whether you’re on step one or lost count along the way I’d love to come along as an individual counselor or couples counselor for the adventure for a little while or for the whole trek if needed. If you've exhausted all you know to do and still have unanswered questions I would love to help whether you are in Boerne or somewhere else in Texas via virtual therapy. Before becoming a counselor I spent time in the outdoor camping ministry, group team building and working at a church. When I'm not counseling you can probably find me hunting, flying recreationally, or being a dad and husband.

My favorite type of clients as an individual counselor are those struggling to understand their own emotions. The Ron Swanson types. Pilots, engineers, linear thinkers. I come from a similar place as these folks, trying (unsuccessfully) to keep them all stuffed down or even to come to grips that I have them, even if they weren't all I thought about.

I also love being a couples counselor to those who are really struggling to communicate, to love one another, and to heal from an affair. Many of the people I work with have struggled with some sort of adult or childhood trauma and I tend to integrate EMDR into my therapy to work towards healing and hope.

My wife (who also works here and if you're choosing between me and her you should definitely go with her - she's a rock-star) and three children and I have called Boerne home since 2022 and have loved being involved in this community as we raise our family and develop roots.

My Role

In addition to providing counseling I also own and manage our team here in Boerne as the Executive Director. I also oversee the operations of all our locations in Houston, College Station and Austin. Potential therapists can send resumes to [email protected]. Also, we enjoy partnering with like minded organizations who want to help their people find a safe place to heal. We partner with churches, non-profits and local organizations. You can connect with us at [email protected].
